The SEENLANDMARATHON is one of the most beautiful running events in Bavaria. Half an hour from Nuremberg, the event starts in Pleinfeld and leads you directly to the unique waterside of the „Brombachsee“. The lovely town of Pleinfeld with its familial atmosphere is the perfect location to feel comfortable. The next SEENLANDMARATHON is taking place on September, 17^th/18^th 2016.

Exceptional features of the SEENLANDMARATHON are its appealing track and the unique ambience during the race at the lake and the whole fringe events. The bank path is the perfect ground for easy jogging. In addition to the inherent natural beauty of the lake, there is a wonderful forest and the lush grass all around to admire. Not least all around the course spectators gather to cheer the runners. Before and after the run a huge party finally will make this day just memorable. At the event area there is a cosy tent where you can get traditional Bavarian food and of course Bavarian beer. Entertaining music and shows will make your day!

We offer every participant a wide range of opportunities to take part in our run. Adults can run the marathon distance, but there are several alternatives. You can also choose the half marathon , the nordic walking course, the hobby run or the marathon-relay. From the age of 16 you can join the half marathon distance and from the age of 18 the full distance. As we want to offer everyone the chance of running, we also offer various distances for bambini , kids and youths.

Running is not only for individuals; therefore we offer a team-run in which you can participate with your friends or colleagues. A relay (team-run) is with two to six runners that finish the marathon-distance together. Marathon-relays are divided into diffrent classes such as Men, Women, Mixed (min. 30 % women), Seniors (born 1966 and older) and companies .

On Saturday the 17^th the bambini-run and the fringe events have priority beginning at 15:00 PM. On Sunday the 18^th September the event starts at 07:00 AM. After picking up your starter-set between 07:00 - 11:00 AM the marathon will start at 09:00 AM.

If one of the runner gets hungry or thirsty, we have also taken care for this case. At regular intervals along the route and at the finish you get drinks and food. Thank you to our partners and the great volunteers at the aid stations!

As you see, not only trained runners can enjoy the fantastic landscape around the „Brombachsee“. Everyone can be part in the SEENLANDMARATHON with its spectacular atmosphere and great location.

How to register for the SEENLANDMARATHON? Either you register yourself here or you download the application form and send it back to us until the 4^th September. You have to transfer the organization fee inclusive the transponder deposit on the operator's account (PayPal payments are possible too). The registration is valid once you have paid the contribution for organisation. Notice that you will pay less the earlier you complete your registration. Costs incurred due to incorrect information will pay the participant. The registration will be confirmed by email to the specified address. The starting list will be published on the website and updated regularly.

Optional services:

• Official event shirt of high-quality and functional material during the registration at the special price of 19.90 €. Remainders are offered at the event weekend for 24.90 € for sale .
• Launch site insurance

Changes in order to the registration must be requested by e-mail (until the 4^th September). If you want to take part at a smaller distance or even can not take part at all, there will be no refund of the organization fee (except with a launch site insurance). After the deadline (4^th September) a re-registation to another person or other changes on your data it will costs 10.00 € fee.

In principle the participants can not get back the organization fee. When the particpiant signs up, he/she has the chance to insure the fee with a launch site insurance for € 5.00 (for the marathon relay it costs 10.00 €). With this insurance the participants will get back the fee 100 % in case of illness, injury or pregnancy.

Each participant must behave in such a way that it does not unnecessarily harassed or charged its surroundings and the environment. Generated waste is in principle to dispose into the appropriate containers or take back again.

Participants at SEENLANDMARATHON agree to the general privacy policy of OAI / Baboons events .

All participants take part at their own risk on the event. They bear the sole civil and criminal responsibility for any damage caused by their own. With the signing up all participants renounce for all the costs associated with the event suffered accidents or damage to any right of action or recourse against all parties in the implementation of the event  in particular against

• the organizer , its agents and helpers
• the / the owner of the used footprint of the event , as well structural works and equipment on site, against the operator for the uses routes and its its agents and helpers
